I’ll warn you right away, the game isn’t hard, but getting all achievements will take a lot of time. As of now, I’m at level 49 and have played for 31 hours. I will provide the final result later. So if you haven’t given up yet, I wish you patience and good luck.
Achievement Guides
After the achievement sections, I will give a few tips to help you progress faster and get all the achievements. Now, let’s go!
Basic Card Box
The easiest achievement, buy the license for the first card box.
Rare Card Pack, Epic Card Pack, Legendary Card Pack
Buy licenses for rare, epic, and legendary card packs (don’t confuse these with Destiny Packs).
Destiny Basic Pack, Destiny Rare Pack, Destiny Epic Pack, Destiny Legendary Pack
Buy the license for the Destiny Basic Pack, Destiny Rare Pack, Destiny Epic Pack, and Destiny Legendary Pack.
Novice Collector, Serious Collector, Pro Collector, Card Connoisseur
Collect 100, 500, 1500, 2500 unique cards in your collection.
Novice Seller, Pro Seller, Ultimate Seller
Sell a card (one) for $200, $5000, $10,000 or more. I got this achievement by selling a card for $13k.
Cozy Card Shop, Popular Card Shop, THE Card Shop
Allow 100, 1500, and 5000 people to play the game, in any format. You need to have 100-5000 people play.
This progress can be tracked by looking at the game mode selection at the tables. For example, you need a certain number to unlock a new mode.
You can track this in the menu. I already have over 5000, so it’s not visible, but when you look at a game format that is still locked, it shows your current stats.
Established Shop, Respected Shop, Influential Shop, Legendary Shop
Reach levels 5, 20, 50, and 100 for your shop.
This is currently the most challenging achievement. The content of the game ends around level 60. It becomes boring even earlier.
What to do with the remaining 40 levels is unknown. I hope the game’s creator will address this issue, perhaps by speeding up the XP gain or adding something else. As of now (build 0.47), this achievement is quite problematic, in my opinion.
Hire 1, 4, 8 workers.
As of the writing of this guide (build 0.47), these are all the available workers.
Packaholic
Open 100 card packs.
Who you gonna call?
Clean 100 people from the smell.
Minor Shop Expansion
Buy 4 expansions for shop A (I’m not sure, but to achieve this type of achievement, you need to buy expansions for shop A specifically. If someone has confirmation or otherwise, please comment).
Petty Cash, I’m Rich!, Capitalism HO!
If you sell only one product and without games, this can be easily achieved.
Note!
For this achievement, you need actual profit (highlighted in red), not revenue. Profit is the net income after daily expenses. So be careful, some players (including myself) didn’t understand why they didn’t get the achievement even though they had the necessary profit.
Sick Pull
Get a full art foil card. There’s nothing specific you need to do here. These cards can drop from any pack (probably), and your task is to open packs.
Sooner or later, these cards will drop, but keep in mind they are very rare. Some people may get them right away, while others may not get them until level 40-50. It all depends on random chance.
I Can’t Stop
Open 1000 card packs. Patience, time, and good luck!
BO Buster!
Clean 500 buyers from the smell.
All Your Base
Open shop B.
I LOVE Working In Retail
The first achievement that I had a bit of trouble with. You need to serve customers at the cash register yourself. And you need to do this 1000 times. I recommend doing this as early as possible while you still have the motivation to be at the register. I didn’t feel like doing this later.
Major Shop Expansion
Buy 10 upgrades for shop A (not sure, but for this type of achievement, you need to buy upgrades for shop A specifically. If anyone has confirmation or otherwise, please comment).
Lucky Bastard
Pull a full art foil Ghost card from the packs. Again, there’s nothing specific you need to do here. These cards can drop from any pack (probably), and your task is to open packs. Sooner or later, they will drop, but keep in mind they are very rare. Some people may get them right away, while others may not get them until level 40-50. It all depends on random chance.
Full Shop Expansion
Buy 20 upgrades for shop A (not sure, but for this type of achievement, you need to buy upgrades for shop A specifically. If anyone has confirmation or otherwise, please comment).
JUST ONE MORE!
Open 10,000 packs. Good luck!
A Few Tips for the Shop
After a certain point in the game, I recommend you install a mod to speed up the opening of packs. Otherwise, it will take a very long time.
For me, the “certain point” is when you achieve the 5000 people played achievement. After this, I recommend installing the mod, because packs are your main source of experience. At level 40 and beyond, levelling up becomes quite tedious and slow, and you won’t get far with just purchases. Installing the mod too early is not recommended because it can break the balance for you. Packs will run out quickly, and you haven’t earned enough to buy new ones because customer traffic is still low.
By the way, about the game tables, after getting the achievement, you can throw them away. Tables are not profitable, it takes a long time to make money from them. An additional disadvantage is that customers remain in your shop. As far as I know, there’s a limit to the maximum number of customers you can have in the store. So you need a good turnover of customers.
The maximum number of customers per day depends on your level and the number of upgrades to the store. The formula is somewhere in the guides. I’m not sure if the upgrades for shop B affect this.
By the way, about shop B. It’s unnecessary in the game. If you’re thinking about space, in my opinion, with max upgrades for shop A, it’s very spacious. So don’t buy it unless you need to. Another downside is that customers will be walking back and forth, which means they’ll stay longer in the store, and your turnover will decrease.
Also, at the later stages of the game, or when you’ve reached the 5000 people achievement, I recommend selling only one item: the card boxes. They are expensive and will give you a good profit. It’s not uncommon to have checks of such value.
Net profit ~33k$. Yes, there will be many dissatisfied customers, and your shop rating will be around three stars, but the profit is good.
Here’s the structure of my shop at the moment: I sell Destiny Epic Card Box. With Legendary boxes, I plan to sell both if the prices don’t differ.
I’ve hired all the workers and put two fast workers at the cash register. But I already feel like I’ll open a new register. The rest of the workers carry and display the goods.
By the way, about sanitizers and people with bad odors. You’ve probably noticed that bad smells can drive other customers away, so be sure to keep an eye on the sanitizers. Unfortunately, your workers don’t refill them.
About Selling Cards
In short, there’s no point in selling cards. From the start of the game up to the 5000 people achievement, I recommend selling cards (and you also need to achieve the expensive card sales achievement). Once you switch to the one-item strategy, get rid of the tables.
I’ll explain: at the later stage, you should focus on collecting card collections and ordering items on time. Selling cards takes a lot of time, and a profit of $20-40 isn’t as efficient. One epic Destiny card box costs about $140. So distracting customers from boxes to cards is not the best idea.
Also, I’ve read somewhere that there shouldn’t be empty display shelves in your store, meaning if a bot approaches a shelf with nothing on it, it won’t buy anything. I’m not sure if this is true, but if it is, it further supports the idea that you should get rid of card tables to avoid confusing bots.
And finally, my most expensive card.
Write down what card you got.
